Sybil Verch

Sybil Verch is EVP, Head of Private Client Solutions. Since joining the firm in 2011, Sybil has held increasingly senior roles, and is widely respected as a strong advocate for advisors. Focused on supporting our advisors with the best tools and platform in the industry, Sybil oversees several departments including: asset management solutions, insurance, financial planning, trust services, tax and estate planning, practice management, and cross border solutions. She is a member of the Raymond James Ltd. operating committee and the wealth management operating committee, providing input on the firm’s strategy and policy decisions.

Sybil has been in the financial services industry since 1994, bringing significant experience to the executive team. Sybil is actively engaged in the Women's Advisory Council at Raymond James, plays an integral part in mentoring women in finance and is dedicated to increasing the number of female advisors in our industry. Her recently published book, The Female Edge, is focused on changing the status quo when it comes to gender diversity in senior leadership roles. She is a member of the private client committee at the Investment Industry Association of Canada (IIAC) and a continuous supporter of the Peter B Gustavson School of Business at the University of Victoria. Sybil is the executive producer and host of a finance television talk show, The Wealthy Life, which is sponsored by Raymond James Ltd., and airs nationally to help Canadians make smarter financial decisions.
