Jimmy is responsible for launching the first sustainability investment banking practice in Canada. With his extensive background in capital markets and mergers & acquisitions, as well as his 15 years of experience working with clean technology companies as part of his previous role, Jimmy and his team work to support innovation across the entire sustainability landscape. Jimmy joined Raymond James in 2005 from a bank-owned investment dealer, where he was a member of the investment banking group. Jimmy is a Chartered Accountant and is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Master of Accounting degree from the University of Waterloo.

Daniel joined Raymond James in 2015 from FTI Consulting, where he was a member of the corporate finance & restructuring group. Daniel has considerable experience in capital markets, mergers & acquisitions and corporate restructurings. Daniel is a Chartered Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Yeshiva University.

David joined Raymond James in 2009 as an Equity Research Associate and was promoted to Equity Analyst in 2016. David’s sustainability-related coverage includes clean generation, resource management (emissions) and bio-based chemicals & fuels. He is the first analyst in North America to publish research on companies in the voluntary carbon offset industry and has hosted numerous webinars educating the market on the sector. Prior to joining the firm, David spent time working at Connor, Clark, & Lunn as well as at HSBC in Commercial Banking. David is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and holds a Bachelor's of Business Administration from Simon Fraser University.

Prior to joining the firm, Michael worked at Macquarie Group covering Canadian equities. Michael is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder and holds an MBA from McGill University and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Toronto.

Steve Hansen is a Managing Director and Equity Research Analyst with Raymond James Ltd. Steve’s sustainability-related coverage includes resource management (food & agriculture, waste). Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Steve was employed as a Stock Analyst with Morningstar covering the Paper & Forest Products sector. He holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Forestry from the University of British Columbia. Steve is a Chartered Financial Analyst charterholder as well as holds the CPA/CMA designation.
